Eileen Emerson	1972/1996	My mum worked here as a cleaner for the landlord Mr. Maguire until about 1972. The pub was splendid, had a social room at the back for dances, a "blue room" that had darts and snooker, and a long main bar across the front. Later on it was a very popular Irish pub under the management of Joe Corcoran. Not sure what happened after Joe left, I think the live music stopped and it fell out of favour. It was really a great pub in its day.
