The Green Man was situated on Honeypot Lane. This 1930's pub has now been demolished and houses built on the site.

I lived above J Sainsburys in Honeypot lane in the '60s and drank in the Green Man regularly and eventually worked and lived there for three months. The landlord was Stan Cunliffe, a retired police officer, as far as I can remember. My friend Graham Dick also worked there.
