The Angel was situated at 1 Chapel
Street. This pub was present by 1861 when it was known as The Cabinermakers
Arms and the publican was William Young. It was renamed The Yorkshire Stingo
in 1896 and then The Angel in 1900. It closed in 1907 when it was subsumed
by the adjoing Flowerpot. |
