The Beaconsfield Inn was situated on
the High Street. My great grandmother, Ethel Gardener worked here in 1891.
The publican was John Sadler. I believe it was also known as the Black Bull
and the Earl of Derby. It closed in 1909 following referral to the
Compensation Authority. |
