The Drovers Rest was situated at 90
Austin Street. This pub was present by 1845 when it was known as The
Brushmakers Arms and the publican was William Dobson. It was renamed The
Drovers Rest in 1888 and closed in 1904 following referral to the
Compensation Authority. £215 compensation was paid. |
