The Duke Of York was situated at 23 Coronation Square. This pub was present by 1838 when it was known as The Red Rover. It was later known as The Coronation Tavern then renamed The Duke Of York in c1893. It closed in 1914 following referral to the Compensation Authority with £629 paid.
