sister during ww2 Mr. & Mrs Beaumont were the landlords lovely people Mr
Beaumont was also the village policeman. nI remember American airmen being
in the bar, visited the village a few years ago pub was totally changed to a
private house the barn was gone and the front had a huge hedge across could
hardly see the pub very sad |

2007 |
We have been the owners/occupiers of this former pub, now
called 'The Old Oak' since 2007. We are the third household to own it
since it ceased to be a pub around 1983, and it is much loved as our
home. We'd be interested in hearing from anyone who has memories of the
former pub, and in particular from anyone who has photos taken
in/outside the pub in days gone by. |
