Customer. As a 15 year old schoolboy at CNS in 1959 I
would go to Thorpe Station to catch a train after school home to
Buckenham near Brundall at 5.22 pm Monday to Friday. School finished at
4.10 and the No.90 bus would get to Thorpe Station in 20 minutes leaving
just enough time to dash to Chalk Hill swallow a half and dash back for
the train. Neither Landlord nor customer ever got caught! |
