The Prince Of Wales was situated at 34 St
Benedicts Street.
This pub was present by the early 19th century
and closed in 1965. It had been tied to Steward & Patteson Brewery of
Norwich. The
former pub is now in retail use. |

I was in the US Air Force stationed at RAF Sculthorpe and
this pub was my weekend home. The landlord was Frank Payne and a bed and
breakfast was located on the upper floors. I was the darts champion in
that neighborhood. |
