Black Horse

The Black Horse was situated on The Street.The site was bought by a Hingham brewer in 1756 and there is a record of the licensee, Robert Pigge, in 1794. The pub was a Watney Mann house when it closed on 12 June 1970. Cliff Kerry was the last licensee. The pub sign dates from 1920. The Black Horse can be seen in the attached photograph to the left of the pub sign.
