The Bay Horse was situated on Grange Road. This grade-II listed pub closed in 2014.
 

 
Listed building details:
Inn. C18 extended early C19. C20 alterations to rear. Roughly-dressed stone with Welsh slate roof. Irregular plan. 2 storeys. 2-bay C18 section to left with large 3-bay projecting section in centre, probably also C18 re-roofed in C19, and cross-gabled range to right, formerly a stable but now part of inn. Doorway in early C20 extruded stone, porch between left and centre sections. 12- and 16-pane sashes, some in raised surrounds. To right, outside stone steps to boarded door. Section to left has C18 kneelers and banded end stack; central section has steeply-pitched roof with reverse-stepped gables and C18 kneelers and massive central stack.
