The Forge Inn was situated on B1337. This pub closed in 2019.  It was put on Northumberland County Council’s Asset of Community Value Register in November 2019 by the Parish Council on behalf of the residents, and in September 2023, the owner notified the NCC of intention to sell the asset. The building dates back to the 1700s when it was a forge.
