Old White Bear

The Old White Bear was situated on Albert Street. The building was erected around 1600 and it was first mentioned as a pub in 1732 when it was known as The White Bear. In 1780 it was advertised as to let. In 1820 it was sold and renamed The Old White Bear until 1903 when it was acquired by the Mansfield Corporation and demolished to make way for road widening.
