The Pheasant Inn was situated on Chesterfield Road South. This pub was present by the 1750s when it was known as The Bricklayers Arms.  From 1828 it was known as the Pheasant Inn. In 1869 a boy was killed by lightning in a cottage next door. The pub was altered in 1906 and closed in 2019.
