The Dolphin was situated on North Church Street. This pub was present by 1853. It closed in the 1970s and was demolished in 1981. More information here.

Rob Skermer 1949/1960 I lived in the Dolphin as a child. Left when my parents moved to the Charlton Arms pub in Chilwell, Notts.
John Ward 1962/1965 Clarry and Babs Walker were the managers with two daughters. Happy days!
Jim Stimpson 1967/1968 I was a barman at the dolphin during this time. Clary and babs were the governors. Clary taught me a lot about the business and started me off in the trade. They were both incredible folk to work for
