The Fox & Grapes was situated on Southwell Road. This pub was known as Peggers at time of closure.
The pub had a short period of notoriety in the late 60s early 70s when the Landlord was stabbed to death while out walking his dog early in the morning . Police were amazed that there were no witnesses as it faces the main bus depot and buses were in and out all the while at that time of morning.

Now reopened as a Castlerock / Beer Consortium pub.
