The Oliver Cromwell was situated at the junction of St Anns Well Road and Alfred Street Central. This pub was demolished in the redevelopment of the St Anns area in the early 1970s. It was a large three storey building with vaults, snug, lounge, best room, off sales and a huge full length room upstairs. This Victorian building had original fittings inside and outside toilets.
