Nags Head, Abingdon, Oxfordshire

The Nags Head was situated on The Bridge. This pub closed on 4th January 2011.  Punch Taverns say the rent to a private landlord is too high and are boarding it up. The pub deteriorated in recent years, despite being a historic building in an excellent location on an island in the middle of the Thames with the best beer garden in Abingdon. The management instead added more big screen TVs.
