House, now public house. Late C17. Coursed
limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; ridge stack of stone finished
in brick. 2-unit lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range. Timber lintel
over C18 six-panelled (2 glazed) door: C20 porch.Timber lintels over C19
three-light casements. C20 wing to right. Interior: room to right has fine
open fireplace with chamfered bressummer Chamfered ogee-stopped beams. First
floor not inspected but likely to be of interest. |
