The Blandford Arms was situated on Chatterpie Lane. This pub closed in 1929 and is now used as a private cottage.

In 1851 my husband's great grandmother, Helen Busby was living in the Blandford Arms, where her father was landlord. She went onto marry another famous publican, Tom Page, of the White Lion in Banbury. She lived to the ripe old age of 102.
