Review from tantallon.org.uk: |
Courage
* John Smith's Bitter £1.90 (13.i.2000)
The pub signs, and there are two of them, both with a slightly different
illustration on either side, show two youths having a scrap, surrounded by
lots of other children egging them on. I think it might be at a public
school, but it was dark. Beer rather unremarkable --- I had an entire pint
of John Smith's by mistake.
What is good about the pub is the bar billiards table. Sadly this was
occupied the entire time we were there. Unobtrusive television in the lounge
(which, confusingly, seems to have the only way in in it).
