The Marlborough Arms was situated at 19 London Street. This grade-II listed pub has now been converted to an Indian restaurant.

Listed building details:
Early C18 roughcast house, formerly Marlborough Arms Public House (and the Swan Public House in late C18). 2-storey and attic. Modern tile roof with 2 gabled dormers. 2-window range of renewed casements with top lights to 1st floor. Ground floor early C19 pub front with fascia and unevenly spaced pilasters framing door and windows. Formerly C19 sash windows, pair to west side, single to east, replaced by modern shallow bow windows. Modern door. Gabled roughcast rear gable to west side. Lower, C19, east side rear range.
