The George Hotel was situated at 33 Cornmarket Street.
This pub was closed and demolished in 1910. Originally called The Falcon
when it opened in 1602, then The Three
Goats from 1618, it was rebuilt as The George Hotel in 1853. A branch of the
National Provincial Bank was built on the site. |
