London Tavern

|
The London Tavern was situated at 26
Queen Street. This pub opened in 1719 as The Hinds Head. Charles Pugh was
the first publican and served there for 43 years. It had changed its name by
1865 and was eventually demolished with a branch of the Halifax Bank now
standing on the site. |
