Maidens Head

 

 

 
The Maidens Head was situated at 8a Turl Street (formerly Lincoln Lane).  This grade-II listed pub was present by 1761 when the publican was Samuel Hicks. It closed in 1910 and is now in commercial use. The last publican was Harry Rumball.
