The Nelson Inn was situated at 22 St
Aldates. This pub was present by 1830 when it was known as The Lord Nelson
and the publican was Henry Over. It had been renamed The Nelson Inn by 1857
and closed in 1901, when the publican was Jesse Mobey. It has now been
demolished. |
