Turks Head

 

 

 
The Turks Head was situated at 56 St Thomas Street (ex 56 High Street). This pub was present by 1801 when the publican was John Barnes. It closed in 1937, the final publican was Ernest Blackford. Now demolished with private apartments built on the site.
