The Bell Inn was situated at 7 Bell Lane. This pub is now in residential use.

There is strong evidence that Bell Inn was once much larger, occupying, Chillingworth House 64 High Street and 4 cottages 1 to 7 Bell Lane. John Chillingworth seized (or was given) the property in payment of debt owed by John Ring licensee in 1862. That appears to be the beginning of the end of Bell Inn.
