Crown Inn

|
The Crown Inn was situated on the Market Place.
This became
a private residence in the second half of the nineteenth century, eventually
being demolished for road widening in the 1980s to create Langdale Gate. The
building may well have been on the site for nearly 300 years; it had been an
inn for at least a century before becoming a residence. |
