The Kings Head was situated on Chapel
Hill. This grade-II listed pub was converted to residential use
c2007. The original Hunt Edmonds sign can still be seen to the right of the
front door. |

House, now public house. Mid/late
C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; end stack of stone
finished in brick. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-window range. Timber
lintel over C20 door to left. Timber lintel over C20 casement; small mid C19
canted bay window with plate-glass sashes to right; C19 gabled dormers.
interior: chamfered beam on ground floor. Partial inspection only. |
