The George & Dragon was situated at 15 Madeley Road. This grade-II listed pub closed in the 1970s and is now in residential use.

Listed building details:

Early C19. Engraved cement; two storeys, two sash windows with keyblocks and chanelled lintels; wood pilaster doorcase with small weather-hood and part-glazed door; brick dog-tooth eaves; tiled roof with gabled ends and stacks. Later single-storey wing on right hand.
