The Faulkland Inn was situated on the High Street.  This grade-II listed pub was previously known as The New Inn.
 
This pub reopened in 2009.

Listed building details:
 Inn. Early C19. Front of painted ashlar, returns of painted rubble, bitumenised slate roof, coped verges, 4 rubble stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays, 16-pane sash windows in painted freestone surrounds. Broad single-storey canted porch to centre of ground floor, sash window to each side; central door opening in non-conforming style.
