The Leopard Inn was situated at Sandhills and is now a private dwelling having closed in 1911.

My great great grandfather, George Lakin, was at one time 'mine host'  at The Leopard, although I don't know any dates. My great great grandmother, according to family lore, had a lovely voice and would sing to the customers sometimes!
