The Horse & Jockey was situated on Ivy House Lane.

I lived behind the pub at 5 Kenelm Rd when it was hit by a bomb about 1942. I was born in the house 23/4/42. Badly damaged by all accounts but repaired. The bomb also blew out the windows in our house and cracked the ceilings.

This pub which has been in a poor state for a while has just been demolished.
