The Locomotive was situated on Vicar Street. Publican from 1922 to 1959 was J. Stone.
 
I am now 69 I used to live in Vicar street my memories are off my Mum on a Friday night she used to have half of mild I was 9 at the time in the outdoor of the Locomotive My friend David Stone lived at the pub. I always remember coming home then watching" Adventures In Paradise" on the small black and white TV, I can still remember the excitement today,
