The Pack Horse was situated on Hill Street.
In 1901 my great grandfather, William Jabez Onslow (c1858-1923) lived in and had ownership of this hotel.

I used to be taken to the Boat Inn when a child, I am 78 now. We used to visit my aunt who lived in the prefabs not far from the pub and all went there for beer and crib. Please see below the stone crib board I was given from that pub.
