The Britannia was situated at 1 Brereton Road. This pub is now used as a vets clinic.

This pub was run by my uncle and aunt, Mr & Mrs. Cecil Walker. I remember it was an Ind Coope house. Children were not allowed in the bar, so when we visited, I had to endure playing with the train layout belonging to my two cousins!
