The Coopers Arms was situated on Owen Street. This pub was present by 1861 when the publican was Benjamin Tranter.  and closed on 31st December 1926. It was demolished in the 1960s. Owned by Atkinsons Brewery.

From the Birmingham Gazette, 1862
By Messrs S Powell & Son tomorrow (Tuesday), February 22nd at the house of Mr Joseph Whitehouse, the Castle Inn, Castle Street, Tipton (by order of the Assignee of Benjamin Tranter, a Bankrupt), with the concurrence of the Mortgagee, subject to conditions then to be read all the recently erected freehold public house, workshops and premises, known as The Coopers Arms Inn, situate in the Sedgley Road, Tipton, opposite the Britannia Foundry, and the Chain and Anchor Works of Messrs, Wright and Co., now in the occupation of Benjamin Tranter, and of the annual value of £32.
The House contains two large Cellars, Hall, Bar, Tap Room, Pantry, Kitchen, large Saloon, fitted with Singing Stage. The Upper Storey consists of four large Chambers (capable of being made into five). The Outer Premises are a large Brewhouse, two stall Stable with Loft over, Coopers shop and Workshop over, Yard, Fence Walls and Brick Piers. The Premises contain an area of 560 square yards, or thereabouts, with the Site of the Buildings, and the whole of the Mines and Mineral belong to the Property which is well situated for Business purposes, and in an improving locality, as several acres of Land adjoining are set out for erection of Houses , and will be ready for sale immediately.
Sale to commence at six o'clock in the evening.
