Former public house. C16 with C17
and C18 extensions, modernised in 1960's. 1½ storeys. L-shaped form.
Timber-framed and rendered with pantiled roof. One internal and one end
chimney-stack. Mid C20 casement windows and door, 3 gabled dormers. 3 C16
bays at south end: framing visible inside: 3 blocked original windows with
diamond mullions. Central section raised in C18. A C18 cross-wing at north
end, originally single-storey, may have been a barn. |
