1980s |
During the 80's we often sailed to Boyton Dock. I
remember sitting in an old setee with the kids in an alcove off the Bar
where drinks were served through a hatch. The Bar had a game comprising
a ring strung from the ceiling. The object was to swing the ring so that
it came to rest on a hook in the wall; not as easy as it sounds.
Entering one year we found the pub full of people at tables engaged in a
beetle drive. |
