The Fir Trees was situated on Stour Street. This
grade-II listed pub was used as a barbers shop following closure and is now in residential use. |

building details: |
A C18 timber-framed and plastered
house, formerly The Fir Trees Inn. 2 storeys. 3 window range, C20 casements
with glazing bars. There is a 3-light canted bay on the ground storey at the
east end, with C19 double-hung sashes. A 6-Panel door with the upper panels
glazed has pilasters and a cornice. Roof tiled, with end external chimney
stacks. |
