The Rose & Crown was situated on The Street. This grade-II listed pub was earlier known as The Crown. It closed during the 1980s and is now in residential use.

Listed building details:
A C17 timber-framed and plastered house. Renovated in the C20, with panelled pargetting. 2 storeys. 3 window range, casements with glazing bars 8c20). Roof tiled, with old red brick, square chimney stack.
