The EUR was situated at the corner of Webb
Street and Croft Street. |
|
EUR stands for Eastern Union Railway which was the first
railway to Ipswich, and was an extension of the Eastern Counties Railway
from London to Colchester. The first railway station in Ipswich was in Croft
Street and later became the site of the engine shed. |
