General Wolfe

The General Wolfe was situated on the High Street. This pub is now in residential use.

Now our home. Built 15th century with some earlier parts, later alterations and additions and became an inn in late 18th century (hence the name) until mid 20th century since when it has been part of a garage/ car showroom, a barber's shop and a house again since the late 1980s. We have owned it since 2017. It retains the pub garden at the rear, landscaped by Notcutts in about 1988.
