The publicans nickname was plum I can't remember his
wife's name,myself and my colleague were working on the accommodation
block for the workers who would build the new sizewell power station.we
stayed on a 2week basis,bed and breakfast.it cost us £8.8 shillings a
week.it was great as poachers supplied lots of the food,grouse,pheasant
and fish etc we lived like kings. |
