As a customer (with my dad, who frequented the place for donkeys years)
this was a wonderful, friendly and usually full pub, especially at bingo
Saturday night sessions, with Derek and his wife behind the bar. Darts
nights were packed, having its own team, of which I was a member. The
bingo section to the south of the bar, was usually full and ‘hee-yar, I
got tut’ being heard every so often when a patron got a full house. |
