Dover Arms

The Dover Arms was situated at 31 Guildford Road. This pub closed in 2008 following the retirement of the landlord who had run the pub for over 20 years. It quickly became derelict, & tiles were stolen off the roof. It was demolished in 2012. The plot is currently used as an extension of the forecourt for a nearby car showroom.
Demolished in September 2012.

Gabriele Ziegler 1987/2007 I visited here every time, I was in Great Britain, together with my beloved Sister, Ingrun Shean from Knaphill, who passed away in 2008. Because I have no contact to anybody, who knew my sister, I would be happy to get in contact with a Person, who remembers her. She was in friendship with Yvonne, The owner and her husband, they spent some Holidays together with their dogs. Thank you !
Martin Fraser 1972/1974 I was a regular at the pub, living just up the road. I played darts for the pub, partnering the then landlord, Edgar Brett in doubles matches.
