The Kings Head was situated at 59
Chertsey Road and closed in 2010. Now demolished and replaced by new
housing. |

|
This pub was of huge historic interest because
it was where most of the early aviators at Brooklands (e.g A.V.Roe, Howard
Pixton and Tom Sopwith) used to congregate in the evenings, particularly
around 1910-11. |
