Rose Inn

The Rose Inn was situated on Wrythe Lane. Now known as 3 Kings Parade, the pub was closed in 1912 after the Landlord George Mombrun was refused renewal of his license. The name was retained later on as an antique shop called Old Rose Antiques. Another pub named The Rose was built at the other end of Wrythe Lane in 1933.  The top of the pub can be seen above the new frontage and Kebab shop in this current view.
