Marion Price	1961-1973	My parents were the licensees at the time and I helped them run this pub and The Fox & Hounds.
Barry Irwin	1962-closure.	I loved this Pub it had such a great atmosphere for me from playing darts to the singing on a Friday night when the locals and the Canadians who had married local girls use to meet up and make the rafters roar, I think it contributed to my life long love of Traditional English folk music which I still sing and play today. The Landlord was Wally who was a lovely chap and his wife and daughter and her husband Fred,
